Group Pod: Holding Space

This week on our podcast, we got the whole team together for the first time ever to talk about one of our core values: Holding Space. Especially in a musical environment, holding space is just as important as providing solutions.

"Because we’re in such a solution-based learning environment, it becomes hard for us to actually express 'no, I don’t actually need the solutions, I know the solutions, I just want to tell you I’m frustrated! Like why can’t I play this A in tune? What the hell?' As much as I love teachers that will give the solutions all the time, sometimes I just wanna sit down and say 'F---, La Scala di Seta is hard, okay?'"
