This year, we're excited to bring together a panel of distinguished musicians and mental health advocates to explore the profound connections between classical musicians and their identities, celebrating the rich tapestry of experiences that inspire their craft, accompanied by a commissioned work by Grace Ann Lee that represents the heart of our theme, performed by New World Symphony Fellows.

Anxiety Cycles is a Sound Mind and Civic Orchestra of Chicago co-commission by friend of the organization, Matthew Pellegrino. It was recorded in May 2021 and premiered virtually on June 2nd, 2021 during Sound Mind’s Musicians’ Roundtable event.
